Contract Technical Assistant (Architectural)

• Diploma / Higher Certificate
• Building Studies or Architectural Studies
• AutoCAD

Qualification and Experience

• Diploma or Higher Certificate in either Building Studies or Architectural Studies from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University or an institute of vocational education;
• Good skill and experience in AutoCAD drafting and preparation of architectural drawings together with good knowledge of Building Regulations and Code of Practices;
• Good knowledge of Building Regulations and Code of Practices;
• Possession of proficient skills in Photoshop, 3D and Powerpoint applications are preferred

Duties

• Responsible to Contract Manager (CM) or the CM’s Representatives to prepare and check drawings, survey plans and schedules, assists in research of architectural/ building materials, take on-site measurement, construct study models, and perform other duties as directed by CM or CM’s Representatives.

Place of Duty

• Work in the Housing Authority Headquarters or in any other office of Housing Department/ Hong Kong Housing Authority or in any site office or other locations as directed.

Office Hours

• The normal office hours are from 8:30 to 17:18 or from 08:57 to 17:45 Monday to Friday. The office hours may be subject to changes to follow the general offices hours of the Housing Department.

Salary

• According to the terms and conditions as stipulated by Housing Department subject to eligible experience and undertaking of extra hours of overtime working.
