Assist Financial Controller

Objective of the Position:

Assist Financial Controller in execution and implementation of internal workflows and daily accounting operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

What You'll Do:

• Supervise the teams that look after accounting operations, prepare management reports, variance analysis, and budgeting.

• Support and work with business units on aspects of finance and accounting related issues of the business units.

• Manage and coordinate taxation matters including tax filings in various jurisdictions.

• Liaise and collaborate with external auditors, advisors and bankers.

• Support ad-hoc assignments and process improvements.

What You Have:

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related disciplines.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience and at least 5 years of experience in a supervisory role.

• Qualified accountant.

• Strong strategic mindset, combined with demonstrated ability to roll up the sleeves and getting things done.

• Strong analytical mindset with a can-do attitude and proven problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding attention to details and numbers.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior executives, team members and and other stakeholders, including external stakeholders such as lawyers and auditors.

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as (Senior) Accounting Manager.
