Head of Cybersecurity / CISO ( Crypto / Securities Brokage ) 80K-100K

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader to serve as Head of Cybersecurity / Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our organization's assets, data, and operations in a dynamic financial services environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing cybersecurity risks, leading teams, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee the organization's cybersecurity framework, including policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Lead incident response efforts, including detection, analysis, and mitigation of security threats and breaches.
• Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and penetration testing to identify and address potential risks.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and executive teams to integrate cybersecurity into business operations and decision-making.
• Manage a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing mentorship, training, and performance evaluations.
• Stay abreast of emerging threats, technologies, and regulatory changes in the cybersecurity landscape.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and financial sector-specific regulations.
• Report on cybersecurity metrics and risks to senior leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA) are highly preferred.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as CISO or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity tools, technologies, and best practices, including firewalls, encryption, SIEM, and endpoint protection.
• Experience in the financial services industry, with understanding of regulatory requirements like PCI-DSS or GDPR.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
• Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations and make critical decisions during security incidents.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
