JOB SUMMARY:
Reporting into the Event Director, you will be responsible for selling integrated sponsoring and media solutions to our event clients. In this position Sponsorship Manager will manage all advertising sales across all platforms including print, digital: on-site solutions and new media. Sponsorship Manager will grow revenue rapidly and creatively and be responsible for identifying and generating new leads with a drive to grow revenue, in addition to maximising revenue from existing clients. Sponsorship Manager will collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive successful campaign solutions and drive product and media development.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Business Development & Sales
- Manage the complete sales cycle process, serving as the primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients
- Conduct strategic outreach to prospective clients to build awareness and influence purchasing decisions
- Deliver compelling, results-oriented presentations designed to secure business commitments
- Provide comprehensive reporting to senior management on sales activities and outcomes
- Successfully manage KPIs, forecasts, and consistently exceed revenue targets
- Implement proactive and creative business development strategies
- Effectively prioritize multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
Event Execution
- Coordinate on-site activities to ensure flawless execution of sponsorship and advertising deliverables
- Collaborate with the Operations Department on venue requirements, equipment setup, signage placement, IT/communications infrastructure, registration needs, and temporary staffing
Post-Event Management
- Oversee comprehensive post-event processes including data analysis, client communications, compilation of event statistics, and development of detailed event reports
Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by management
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrated success in media sales across digital and traditional channels
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Strong understanding of brand strategy and business development principles
- Exceptional sales acumen with proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Outstanding relationship-building abilities with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated team collaboration capabilities
- High level of cross-cultural awareness and emotional intelligence
OTHER PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES:
- Experience with Salesforce CRM desirable
- MS Offic
