Presales / Solution Engineer

Job Description:

• Support the sales team to deliver consulting services, clarify customer needs, and provide technical solutions. Conduct product demos and technical briefings, address customer inquiries, and timely organize and report customer feedback.
• Analyse customer needs and collected market data, evaluate scenarios based on analysis results to propose targeted solutions, and draft pre-sales technical proposals.
• Implementation of servers, server software and virtualization solutions
• Setup, installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting and fine-tuning of the related components
• Implementation of system management / monitoring configuration and procedures including backup / restore components
• Knowledge on Microsoft Server like Domain Controller, Database

Job Requirements

• University graduate in IT or related disciplines is preferred
• At least 2 years' experience in installation, configuration and support of Linux and/or Windows servers.
• Customer-oriented and strong interpersonal skills
• Mature, aggressive, flexible, energetic, self-motivated and able to take up challenges and pressure
• Good command of both written and spoken English and Cantonese is required
