System Architect, SCADA

The Role

You will be in charge of the product policy regarding architecture, technical choices and roadmap throughout the lifecycle of our product ICS SCADA (SCADA, Integrated Communication and Supervision)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for analyzing technical requirement compliance for a bid or project based on product capabilities including both internal and external products
• Work closely with Bid / Project Manager, Solution Engineering Manager and other WorkPackage Managers to capture customer needs and to ensure a high level of requirement clarity during project execution
• Define the system (SCADA) design / alternative solution based on customer requirements and product policy with considerations and balance of innovations, competitiveness and feasibility; identification of required product enhancements (internal product) for acceptance if required
• Acts as the primary technical lead in bid or project
• Prepare and update the design document for senior design authority approval

Requirements

• Degree holder in Electronic / Computer Science/ Engineering or related discipline
• 5 years experience in software engineering
• At least 10 years of experiences in large-scale SCADA / Control system; an advantage to have experiences in railway industry
• Solid experiences in system and interface design for SCADA system
• Good understanding of system engineering (e.g. requirement analysis, design, V&V, etc.)
• Knowledge / experiences in cloud computing, networking, Agile / lean, system assurance, cyber security absolute an advantage
• Detail-minded, strong analytical skills and communication skills
