Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Client Director with a deep understanding of home products to lead client relationships and business development initiatives. In this role, you will oversee the development and execution of business plans to support growth, manage client accounts, and ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services. Your expertise in the home industry will drive success in maintaining and expanding our relationships with clients globally.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and the alignment of our services with their business objectives.

Lead the development and execution of business development strategies to expand existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.

Lead a team of client managers, providing mentorship and guidance to ensure high performance, client satisfaction, and growth. Help develop team members' skills and careers while encouraging collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Provide strategic insights and consulting on solutions that meet clients’ business needs and objectives. Drive discussions around both current challenges and future opportunities.

Ensure that client projects are delivered on time, within budget, to the highest quality, and all client deliverables meet or exceed expectations.

Work closely with other departments among different regions to ensure a seamless and unified approach to client delivery and support.

Work to address and resolve any challenges or issues that arise, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Regularly report on clients’ business development progress, and overall performance to senior management.
Job Requirements

A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, design, or a related field is preferred.

A minimum of 8-10 years in client management, business development, or a related field, with significant experience in home products. Prior experience in a buying agent or trading company environment is highly preferred, especially in handling the US and European markets.

Deep knowledge of the hard home goods. Experience with international sourcing, and market dynamics in US and Europe.

Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, providing guidance and fostering collaboration to achieve business objectives and enhance client satisfaction.

Expertise in home product design, manufacturing, and sourcing processes. Knowledge of product quality standards, sustainability trends, and the competitive landscape in the home goods and furniture markets.

Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to influence and engage senior executives and stakeholders, both internally and externally.

Willingness to travel frequently for client meetings, sourcing, and project oversight.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on resolving complex issues.
