Research Assistant – Department of Supply Chain and Information Management

Research Assistant – Department of Supply Chain and Information Management (Ref: RA (UGC/FDS14/E06/23) 2024-04-12)

The appointee will work with the project leader in conducting research and development projects.

Applicants should:

• possess a bachelor’s degree or master's degree in Operations Research, System Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline; 
• preferably have experience in scheduling problems;
• be proficient in at least one computer programming language (e.g. Java, Python, etc.); 
• preferably have good knowledge of mathematical modeling and optimization algorithm; and
• have a keen interest in artificial intelligence and data analysis.

The employment is on a 12-month contract. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
