We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable candidate to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Drive business development initiatives, develop and maintain profitable business relationships and extend NEC presence in specific sector clients.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed both revenue and gross profit targets.
- Identify and gather intelligence on client needs and requirements in specific sector clients.
- Work closely with both internal and external partners to identify, pursue and convert opportunities.
- Serve as an account manager to customer, develop and manage client relationships to ensure customer success.
- Develop long-term account plans and relationship maps.
- Qualify and respond to commercial Tenders/ RFPs/ RFQs/ RFIs. Oversee the corresponding bid process, co-ordinate all parties involved to ensure all timelines are met and that the bid submitted is complete and accurate, whilst also best reflecting the company’s service and abilities.
Experience & Skills
- University graduate with a minimum of 2 years’ business development or sales experience.
- Experience in selling IT outsourcing, managed services, and technology solutions.
- Understanding of the IT outsourcing, managed services, consulting and system integrator market, ideally gained from working in the business development role within SI companies.
- A self-starter with experience planning and successfully executing a strategic business development/ account plan.
- Experience in developing strong relationships with technical and business leaders.
- Experience in overseeing and leading the bid team in planning and delivery of the pre-qualification questionnaire and bid submissions in line with agreed strategies.
- Experience in closing multi-year contracts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, in both English and Chinese.
