Senior Tradeshow Executive (Overseas shows)

The successful candidate will be a key member of the overseas exhibition business unit to develop and execute Global Sources tradeshows in international markets outside of Hong Kong, including existing overseas event destinations and potential new markets.

• Hands-on coordination on all fronts related to the tradeshow project assigned, including but not limited to stakeholders and partners in other countries and regions, business development, marketing, operations, legal and accounting, etc.
• Focused on marketing, work with different internal teams as well as external partners to execute sales and marketing programs (including exhibitor promotion and visitor promotion) to drive desired results for the tradeshows.
• Work with external partners to structure and organize event activations and content programs at the event to enhance tradeshow value, including but not limited to conferences, business matching, awards, networking events, at show broadcasting, etc.
• Support Team Manager to coordinate with internal parties on market research and intelligence gathering, for new market development.
• Manage inquiry channels and coordinate with different stakeholders for response.
• Provide customer support to key clients.
• Perform ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree holder in Communications, Business, Marketing or related disciplines
• At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in exhibition or event fields, hands-on in project handling
• Prior marketing experiences an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
• Able to work under pressure
