Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Requirements engineering through discussion with end users
• Apply data mining and machine learning techniques on existing data banks
• Deploy machine learning models on biological data
• Work closely with Bioinformatics Scientists and Researchers.
• Analyze and maintain existing software applications
• Design highly scalable, testable code on cloud
• Perform routine code review and fix programming bugs proactively

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field is required.
• Self-motivated and passionate.
• Able to work independently to meet multiple project deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, fluent in both English & Chinese.
• Have a focus on high-quality and best practices in coding.
• Hands-on coding experience in machine learning or data mining
• Fresh graduates are welcome.
