Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Retail Operations Executive /Operations Assistant to join our team, specialising in cosmetics, skincare and hair care brands. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the operational aspects of our retail stores, specifically focused on beauty skincare and hair care products. Your primary objective will be to ensure smooth operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive sales growth within our organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our skincare and haircare retail stores.
- Develop and implement operational strategies tailored to the beauty industry to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, collaborating with Logistics Team to ensure optimal stock availability for products, tools and devices.
- Implement visual merchandising guidelines specific to skincare and haircare brands to create captivating product displays.
- Train and coach retail staff on operational procedures, system operational skills, product knowledge, and customer service techniques specific to brands.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and sales, to develop and execute promotional activities and achieve sales targets for the brands.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints related to skincare and haircare products in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay updated on the latest beauty industry trends, product innovations, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field.
Proven 3-5 years’ experience in retail operations, preferably within the beauty skincare, hair care, fashion industry. Candidates with less experience will also be considered for the position of Operations Assistant.
- Strong passion for and knowledge of skincare and hair care products.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on providing excellent customer service.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, particularly in inventory management and visual merchandising.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems and point-of-sale (POS) software in the beauty industry.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
Flexibility to work weekends or extended hours as needed to align with beauty industry events or promotions.
