Senior Engineer/ Project Manager/ Site Agent (Civil Engineering)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Engineer with a background in civil construction

engineering to join our team. As a Senior Engineer, you will oversee the construction of civil

infrastructure projects and ensure they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required

quality standards. This is a challenging and crucial role that requires a high level of technical knowledge,

as well as strong project management skills.

Responsibilities:

Oversee the construction of marine infrastructure projects, including breakwaters, jetties,

quays, and other marine structures.

Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality

standards.

Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources, working closely with the

project team.

Manage site activities, including coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring

compliance with health and safety regulations, and monitoring progress against the schedule.

Identify and report any issues or problems that may impact project delivery, and work with

the project team to develop solutions.

Maintain accurate project records, including daily site reports, progress reports, and change

orders.

Liaise with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required.

Manage project budgets and cost control, including preparing estimates and forecasts, and

monitoring actual costs against budget.

Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant specifications, codes of practice,

and quality standards.

Provide technical support and guidance to the project team as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• At least 5 years of experience in civil /marine construction engineering, with a proven track

record of delivering complex projects.

Strong technical knowledge of marine construction engineering, including materials, methods,

and equipment.

Excellent project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project

schedules, budgets, and resources.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients,

stakeholders, and project teams.

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in project management software tools and Microsoft Office.
