Manager / Assistant Manager – Ocean Freight Procurement

Responsibilities:

• Rate negotiation with ocean carriers (mainly Africa, Middle East and Indian Sub-continent trade lanes)
• Regular rate sheet update and distribution to relevant stakeholders
• Space / allocation coordination / arrangement with local offices and carriers
• Statistics and reports, market information update (e.g. FAK/NAC/Spot Rate Update, Utilization Levels, Blank Sailings etc)
• Coordination between carriers, sales & operation team
• Invoice / billing management

Requirements:

• Degree holder, major in business / logistics related is preferred.
• Excellent negotiation skill
• Good network and relationship with ocean carriers
• Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.
• Strong sense of responsibility and team player
• Familiar with MS office
