Clerical Officer I/II in the Department of Public and International Affairs [Ref. R/378/25]Duties
-
Provide comprehensive clerical support for the academic programmes, including student records, admissions, examination, timetabling, etc.;
-
Provide logistics support of departmental and programme functions such as information days, consultation days, admissions talks, orientation days, commencement, etc.;
-
Provide support for student development activities;
-
Provide support for student exchange, study tours, and scholarships;
-
Liaise with respective stakeholders, and answer enquiries and correspondence; and
-
Perform any other duties as assigned.
Requirements
-
5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language (at least Grade C if Syllabus A), Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience;
-
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
-
Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, with good communication and problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility;

Being attentive to work details and task quality;
-
Ability to work independently and efficiently on multiple tasks; and
-
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word-processing are required.

Knowledge of MS Access would be an advantage.
Candidates with more than 6 years’ relevant working experience in handling academic programmes may be considered for appointment as Clerical Officer I.
Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.
Salary and Conditions of Service
Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
