Are you interested in optimizing software and relational databases using an acute knowledge of algorithms, memory management, indexes, query plans, and are you not afraid of working in an environment of millions of lines of code ?
As a performance expert in Tech Support, you will be responsible for not only optimizing customer's implementation of our software, but also developing R&D performance optimization in our codebase.
Rest assured, communication with customers in tech support is strictly done through emails (direct calls may happen once a year but don’t worry, you will be coached for that).

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, analyze and resolve system slowdowns
- Provide performance improvements to the codebase
- Provide quick and accurate feedback to customers
- Stay up to date with the evolution of our ORM
- Become an expert in the quirks of our ORM
- Develop or improve internal tools
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Fluency in spoken English
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in a low and high level programming language
- Interested in software optimization
- Strong experience in SQL/relational database systems
- Know our tech stack (Python, PostgreSQL, JavaScript)
- Know the Unix-Linux platform
- Experience in IT and/or IT support
- Keen to learn about our hosting types and differences
- 1-3 years relevant experience
