Key Responsibilities

1.  Daily Physical/Online Shop Operations: 

    Open and close the Point-of-Sale system, handling cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately.
    Maintain a clean, organized, and safe sales floor, fitting rooms, and storage areas.
    Perform routine equipment checks (e.g., credit card terminal, POS barcode printer, office printer, water machine).
    Assist in the maintenance of the shop’s storage and warehouse.
    Support online order fulfilment and logistics.
    Draft product descriptions for the online shop platform (Opencart).
    Update product information, including descriptions, photos, stock quantities, and pricing. Ensure content accuracy across all online channels.
    Efficiently handle returns and exchanges for online purchases.

2.  Inventory Management: 

    Regularly transfer stock from the warehouse or shop cabinets to the sales floor based on layout plans.
    Assist in receiving new inventory deliveries; unpack, count, and tag items.
    Report missing or defective items to the supervisor.
    Participate in regular stock counts and the annual stocktake.

3.  Support for University Events & Promotions: 

    Assist with setting up systems and promotional displays in the physical shop and pop-up stores.
    Actively inform internal departments and customers about ongoing promotions and upcoming events.
    Represent the shop at university events (e.g., Welcome Back, Congregation, Fun Day) by staffing booths, handling sales, and promoting products.

4. Back-End Administration: 

    Process the day-end breakdown report in the system and update the shop’s daily sales report for distribution.
    Assist in coordinating engraved diploma orders and provide timely updates to customers regarding their progress.
    Order shop supplies and promotional materials, such as distilled water for the water machine, thermal paper for the POS/card terminal, banners, and posters, as directed by the shop supervisor.
    Submit operational work orders, such as CMO removal services and repair requests (e.g., replacement of shop spotlights, air conditioning filter cleaning, pest control).

What We're Looking For

    Associate degree or equivalent qualification required, bachelor’s degree is an advantage.
    Applicants should have 3 or more years’ post-qualification work experience particularly in retail sales and e-commerce.
    Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
    Friendly, detail minded, self-motivated, responsible, highly organized, efficient and works well in a team environment.
    Excellent communication skills with a good command of Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
    Applicants with experience in adobe illustrator or photoshop is an advantage.
    Required to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and select weekdays.
    Flexible to support when emerging requirements from the team as needs arise.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive starting salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and paid leave. The position is based on a 5-day work week on shifts (including weekends) and is offered under a two-year renewable contract. 

Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.  Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided.  A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
