Main responsibilities will include: 

Handle full set I/E documents, do import document checks with freight importers make sure smooth custom clearance

Freight and VAT calculations based on FOB, DAP, DDP terms and sometimes for different shipping modes for example sea,  rail and air simultaneously

Cross quotes with minimum 2 freight suppliers negotiate the best price and service plan

Assist suppliers with export documentation and make sure cargo can be shipped on schedule

freight tracking,  keeping sales up to date and stay on top any delays or issues,  check POD is received in timely manner

Work closely with RDP warehouse make sure the pick and pack orders are shipped out daily worldwide with UPS, FEDEX and DHL

Proactive identify potential risks to on time delivery and propose ideas to mitigate the risks

Develop new suppliers and manage relationship with existing freight suppliers,  regular review of supplier performance replace if necessary

ad hoc duties assigned by the assistant logistics manager

Qualifications and experiences: 

GSE 5 passes including English  or above

Minimum 3 years experience in similar role in Western buying office or trade company

Experience with ex-works,  FOB and DDP deliveries

Independent and confident in communication with customers and vendors

Proficiency in written English, good spoken English and Mandarin.

SAP experience is preferred but not essential,  strong Excel skills

Able to work in fast pace environment, flexible and with positive attitudes

Self-motivated to work on continuous learning and self-improvements

Proactive, ability to prioritise and multi-task, organised

Team player, willing to go beyond normal duties to help colleagues when in need

Solution oriented approach to issues,  stay calm and focus on finding solutions

Occasional overtime work needed
