Retail Operations Management (40%)

Store Leadership & Performance

  • Lead and manage 3 retail locations (BoConcept and A Matter of Design multi-brand stores)
  • Drive sales performance against targets through effective store management and team leadership
  • Work with Store Managers to achieve sales targets and optimize store operations
  • Establish and implement action plans to achieve/exceed retail sales goals & KPIs
  • Monitor daily operations including inventory, staffing, and customer service standards

Team Development & Training

  • Lead and inspire diverse retail sales teams across multiple locations
  • Develop comprehensive training programs for new employees and annual development plans
  • Recruit service-oriented and passionate Sales Associates
  • Foster luxurious shopping experiences through exceptional customer service training
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide mentorship

Brand Management & Visual Standards

  • Ensure consistent brand presentation and storytelling across all retail locations
  • Partner with back office teams on stock management, visual merchandising, and CRM
  • Act as brand ambassador for both BoConcept and A Matter of Design brands
  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape to inform retail strategies

Trade & Business Development (40%)

Strategic Business Development

  • Develop and implement comprehensive B2B strategy for Trade, Project, and Wholesale channels
  • Transform reactive customer service inquiries into proactive business development opportunities
  • Build systematic approach to identifying and pursuing commercial projects
  • Establish best practices and SOPs for trade business operations
  • Create sales pipeline and forecasting for B2B channels

Market Expansion & Relationship Building

  • Leverage industry connections to jumpstart trade sales beyond current CS inquiries
  • Identify and develop relationships with interior designers, architects, property developers, and corporate clients
  • Navigate challenging real estate market conditions to find new growth opportunities
  • Develop strategic partnerships with trade professionals and project specifiers

Commercial Project Management

  • Lead commercial and residential project sales from inquiry to completion
  • Develop project pricing strategies and negotiation frameworks
  • Coordinate with design teams and operations for project fulfillment
  • Establish project management systems and client communication protocols

Integrated Operations & Leadership (20%)

Financial Performance & Planning

  • Own P&L responsibility for both retail and trade business units
  • Develop integrated budgets and forecasts combining both channels
  • Analyze performance metrics across all business streams
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling between retail and trade customers

Strategic Integration

  • Ensure synergy between retail and trade operations
  • Develop integrated marketing strategies leveraging both channels
  • Create systems for lead sharing and customer referrals between divisions
  • Report comprehensive performance metrics to Regional Director

Requirements:

  • Degree holder: Business Administration, Marketing, other related fields.
  • Minimum 6 years of working experience in retail and project/trade experience
  • Experience in home furnishings, furniture, lighting industries a bonus
  • Strong sales acumen with a track record of successfully achieving sales targets.
  • Exceptional people management and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams…building a strong, lively retail sales culture.
  • Deep understanding of Hong Kong retail and trade markets
  • Proven ability to identify and capture new business opportunities
  • Sound understanding of sales planning and sales operations.
  • Positive, energetic, and a great team player.
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin is a plus).
