Research Assistant (holding a functional title of Java Back-End Developer) (2 posts)

The appointees will assist the project leader in one of the research projects below:

“AI-Powered Interactive Marketing and Customer Engagement Solution”

(. No.: AiDLab/P1.1/R098), or

“Designer-led AI System for Fashion Accessory and Lifestyle Product Design”

(. No.: AiDLab/P1.2/R101), or

“AI-Driven Pattern Making System for Fashion”

(. No.: AiDLab/P1.3/R104)

Job Duties:

a) Develop and maintain core business systems, including interface/database design.

b) Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

c) Troubleshoot and optimize system performance.

d) Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project delivery.

Qualifications Requirements:

a) Bachelor’s degree in computer science with at least 1 year of hands-on experience.

b) Strong Java fundamentals (data structures, multithreading, caching).

c) Proficient in Spring Boot/MyBatis, MySQL, Git, and message queues (Redis/RabbitMQ).

d) Familiarity with Linux and Docker.

e) AI platform experience is a plus.
