Part-Time English and Phonics Teacher

About the role

Mini Maker Lab' is seeking a passionate and experienced Part-Time (Native) English and Phonics Teacher to join our team in the Fanling North District. As a part-time role, this position offers an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and love for teaching with young learners in a supportive and engaging environment.

What you'll be doing

1. Delivering engaging and interactive English and phonics lessons to students aged 3-6 years old
2. Preparing lesson plans, teaching materials, and assessments to support student learning and development
3. Providing individualised attention and support to help students of all abilities progress in their language skills
4. Collaborating with the education team to continually improve the curriculum and teaching methods
5. Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular feedback to parents

What we're looking for

1. Native english teachers with a passion at least 1+ years of experience teaching English and phonics to young learners. TEFL qualification preferred. Candidates with no experience may also be considered.
2. Strong knowledge of the English language, grammar, and effective teaching methodologies.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students and their families.
4. Creativity and resourcefulness in designing and delivering dynamic, age-appropriate lessons.
5. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners.
6. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students reach their full potential.
