On-Site Security Systems Technician

Responsibilities:

• Conduct basic design and recommendation of security systems

• Perform basic installation including wiring and cabling of security systems 

• Perform testing and commissioning of security systems

• Perform programming of security systems and supervise others to ensure timely updates and housekeeping of database

• Perform service and repair of security systems as required, and coordinate with vendor provided maintenance and repair services

• Track and analyze reports of defects, faults and malfunctions of all security system equipment and related hardware and support infrastructure

• Supervise the installation, commissioning, handover and servicing of security system works undertaken by external vendors

• Maintain updated records of all software versions and software support agreements. Manage and plan for software upgrades to minimize risk and system disruption

• Train security user personnel in all aspects of system operation and best practice

• Train other technical personnel in the design, installation, repair and/or maintenance of security systems and devices specific to the bank’s configuration

• Liaise with internal clients on service standards and performance of security systems

• Continually monitor the performance of the security systems to ensure they comply with bank standards. Perform periodic reviews of the design and operations with recommendations for improvement

Requirements: 

• At least 2 years' experience in project co-ordination and installation of Electronic Security systems

• With valid Security Personnel Permit Cat. D (SPP-D)

• With Lenel and Milestone certificates

• Electrical Worker License (A) is preferred

• Good communication and project coordination skills

• Proactive, cooperative, drive to success and able to work independently and under pressure

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese

• Proficiency in MS Applications and AUTOCAD software applications (Optional)

• Proficient in networking preferably with MSCA/CCNA certification or equivalent experience (Optional)
