Laboratory Manager

To cope with our fast expansion in Hong Kong, we are currently seeking high caliber professionals to join this promising field:

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day to day operation of the laboratory
• Maintain laboratory accreditation under AABB, FACT & CAP standards
• Closely monitor process development/ improvements in processing and storage of different biological tissues (e.g. cord blood, cord tissue, cord lining, placenta)
• Operate testing equipment and instruments according to SOPs including immunology, hematology, molecular
• Provide technical guidance both internally and externally regarding complex technical issues
• Properly manage the laboratory consumables and laboratory equipments
• Involve in internal and public educational talks/ seminar when necessary
• 5-day week, occasional business travel and working on Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday may be required

Job Requirements:

• MUST be a Registered Part I Medical Laboratory Technologist
• Bachelor or above in Science/ Biomedical / Biotechnology or any other life sciences related disciplines
• At least 5 years of related work experience, exposure in the use of sterile technique and working in human cells is an advantage
• Possess relevant quality assurance and regulatory compliance experience
• Excellent analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment
• Good team player with excellent leadership and people management skills
