Key Account Manager

About the role

DP World Asia Holdings Limited is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Key Account Manager to focus on vertical industries - Automotive, Retails, FMCG, Technology. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in managing and growing our key client relationships within the freight and cargo forwarding industry.

What you'll be doing

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients to drive business growth and ensure exceptional customer service
• Identify new business opportunities and secure new client contracts
• Manage the full lifecycle of client accounts, including contract negotiation, service delivery, and performance monitoring
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address client needs and resolve any issues that may arise
• Analyse client data and provide strategic recommendations to improve service levels and drive operational efficiency
• Contribute to the development and implementation of key account management strategies and processes
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth

What we're looking for

• 8+ years of experience in a key account management or senior sales role within the freight/cargo forwarding industry
• Proven track record of building and maintaining long-term, strategic client relationships
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
• Proficient in project management and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Knowledge of industry regulations, trends, and best practices
• Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
