Job Title: IT Engineer / IT Technician

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day technical support to staff and students

• Perform hardware and software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

• Help resolve technical issues in a timely manner ensuring a stable environment for users

• Assist in the management of school systems to support teaching and learning

• Provide AV support for school events including on weekends on a rotation basis

• Undertake other duties as assigned by the Head of IT

Requirements:

• Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years for IT Technician applicants, 5 years for IT Engineer applicants

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field

• Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills in English

• Personal Characteristics: Genuine interest in technology and desire for continued professional growth

• Technical Skills:

  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network problems

  • Experience with Windows, ChromeOS, and iPadOS environments

  • Experience in one or several of the following areas:

    • Google Workspace administration

    • Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) tenant administration

    • Microsoft Power Platform and business/workflow automation

    • Device management using Microsoft InTune

    • Network administration including firewall and switches

  • Candidates with prior experience and/or interest in application development both front-end and back-end, as well as database design will have a distinct advantage
