IT Engineer (Contract)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled IT Colocation Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional onsite support and manage our ticketing system for our financial services client. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT infrastructure, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and manage incoming service requests via the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as necessary.

• Provide onsite technical support for hardware, software, and networking issues in the environment.

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents reported by clients or internal stakeholders.

• Document incidents, changes, and configurations in the ticketing system and knowledge base.

• Assist in implementing IT projects and upgrades as required.

• Ensure adherence to security policies and protocols within the colocation facilities.

• Work closely with vendors for hardware procurement and support.

• Participate in incident response and recovery efforts as needed.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in a Information Technology.

• 3-5 years of IT support experience for Financial Services / Professional Firm/ MNC , etc.

• Proficiency in Cantonese, English, Mandarin

• Have programming experience or understand programing language is a plus

• Dynamic Working Environment

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM

• Occasional Saturday: Required for urgent cases
