Factory Operations Manager (Stationed in Indonesia)

We are looking for a talent to fill in the vacancy stationed in our Indonesia plant. Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of our new plant, including follow up the new plant construction , production, quality control, supply chain and administration functions, and etc. You will develop, implement and maintain effective and efficient operation procedures and communications among departments. Besides, you are expected to identify areas of improvement in different aspects and discuss with departments for possible solutions and to build up and maintain a good relationship with the government officials in Indonesia.

Responsibilities:

• Report to General Manager
• Manage the daily operations and overall management functions including follow up the new plant construction,  supply chain, production, quality control, administration, and etc.
• Work closely with management level between plant to ensure overall achievements of production plans and quality standards
• Oversee the costs and budgets of the plant and conduct analysis and report to Directors
• Monitor overall plant performance and ensure all human and capital assets are well maintained and utilized
• Communicate and coordinate with departments to resolve any problems arisen in different areas of the plant to improve and enhance the operations to optimize performance and productivity
• Build up a strong potential workforce with proper people development strategies
• Ensure the plant’s conformance with all government, and environmental regulations, and nurse relationships with authorities in the local community
• Location: Kawasan Industri Kendal, Semarang
• 5.5 days work week

Requirements:

• Degree holder in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or in other related discipline
• Minimum 10 years solid experiences in manufacturing industry with a least 5 years in managerial level, preferably in a sizable plant with over 2,000 workers for toys or similar industry
• Familiar  in factory operations, customer factory audit & using SAP
• Good command of both written and spoken English, Bahasa Indonesia & Chinese (Cantonese/Putonghua)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong leadership skills, trustworthy, independent and ability to influence to drive changes and continuous improvements
