Duties

  1. Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to identify and cultivate partnerships with corporations, industry associations, and government bodies, expanding programme reach and driving enrolment;
  2. Engage with senior executives and HR leaders to promote customised executive learning solutions, facilitate group enrolments, and strengthen institutional relationships;
  3. Create tailored proposals and presentations that address organisational needs and decision-maker priorities, supporting business development efforts;
  4. Represent the programme at professional events, conferences, and corporate meetings to enhance visibility, build networks, and foster long-term collaborations;
  5. Collaborate with faculty and internal stakeholders to ensure programme offerings align with market demand, client expectations, and strategic goals;
  6. Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform programme positioning, outreach strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives;
  7. Design and implement integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels to promote executive development programmes and attract qualified applicants;
  8. Manage marketing content and branding, including social media, advertising, website updates, and production of promotional materials, ensuring consistency and impact;
  9. Organise recruitment events and maintain engagement with prospective applicants, while managing marketing databases, analysing campaign performance, and providing actionable recommendations; and
  10. Perform other assigned duties, with flexibility to work outside normal office hours and travel frequently to promote programmes and engage with potential applicants.

Requirements

  1. A Bachelor’s degree, with at least 7 years’ relevant experience in business development, marketing, and student recruitment, preferably gained in the higher education or executive training sector;
  2. Good understanding and relevant work experience in both Chinese Mainland and international markets, with demonstrated success in strategic outreach and partnership development. Experience in engaging corporate clients, HR leaders, and industry associations is highly desirable;
  3. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua), with proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse professional and cultural contexts;
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering impactful presentations to large audiences and conducting small group admissions chats and outreach events. The ability to develop tailored proposals and pitch decks for senior stakeholders is essential;
  5. Excellent strategic thinking and organisational skills, with a track record of initiating and executing innovative business development and marketing plans that deliver measurable outcomes;
  6. Ability to work independently and collegially within teams;
  7. Good command of IT skills to manage data, CRM systems, and presentation materials. Proficiency in digital marketing platforms and analytics tools is required;
  8. Strong commitment, resilience, and adaptability, with the ability to work under pressure, embrace change, and travel to represent and promote executive education programmes; and
  9. Demonstrated ability to monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform programme positioning, outreach strategies, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates with less experience may be considered for appointment as Executive Officer II.

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
