As the Distribution Account Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the distributors and driving the success of the Channel Partner Program in Hong Kong. Your primary goal is to maximize market growth by developing and strengthening a robust channel infrastructure comprised of distributors and various channel partners.
This role requires effective relationship management, ongoing development of channel partners through training and support, and a results-oriented approach to performance tracking. You will also contribute to revenue growth by optimizing sales processes, tools, and guidelines across the region.
This position is based in Hong Kong, with a requirement to travel from time to time as required.
What you’ll do here as a Distribution Account Manager / Channel Sales Manager
- Act as the primary point of contact for all distributors in the market
- Drive recruitment of new partners into the Channel Partner Program
- Train, advise, and educate partners on Axis’ products, services, and value proposition
- Manage stock levels, stock rotation, and product mix to optimize availability
- Plan, implement, and follow up on distributor marketing activities in collaboration with the local Marketing Manager
- Set performance targets and evaluate distributor's performance on a regular basis
- Ensure achievement of quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets
We'd love to hear that you have/are:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated success in consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Proactive, results-driven, and highly self-motivated team player
- Strong knowledge of IP-based technologies and networking solutions
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Fluent in Cantonese and English, both spoken and written
