Job Description

Clerical Officer I in the College of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences [Ref. R/308/25]

The appointee will work under the Staffing Team of the College Office.

Duties

  1. Support the logistics and handle staffing matters for the whole CLASS and College;
  2. Provide support for performance management for CLASS including review of criteria and standards;
  3. Provide support for committee work and working groups;
  4. Provide support in human resources functions of the College Office;
  5. Handle enquiries and general correspondence, as well as filing of records;
  6. Provide administrative support to the Office for its daily operation; and
  7. Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements

5 passes in HKCEE/HKDSEE including English Language, Chinese Language and Mathematics, with at least 6 years’ relevant working experience. Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua); proficiency in computer knowledge and data management skills; good interpersonal skills and being a good team player with a strong sense of responsibility and time management.

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a written test.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be highly competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract; fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes.
