Buyer / Assistant Buyer (FMCG)

Your new role

• Manage the product category in order to drive the sales growth
• Establish and maintain effective pricing strategy to maximize business profits
• Monitor the order execution, develop and implement the procurement policies to comply with the business needs
• Negotiate with suppliers to achieve competitive price, deals and terms
• Source new and emerging category/brand to introduce to the business
• Support new business initiatives and other ad hoc projects as required
• Keeping up to date with forthcoming trends, making sure product is developed in the correct direction and is relevant in the marketplace
• To be accountable and be responsible to achieve agreed purchase targets and KPIs
• Collaborating with multi-functional teams (Marketing, Finance, Logistics, Operations among others) to develop strategies and plans

• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by immediate superior

  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Higher Diploma or above
• Sourcing/merchandising experience in Food / FMCG is preferable
• Independent, multi-tasking skills, detail-minded, sensitive to figures, good  analytical skill with strong market sense and awareness
• You must have a high level of communication and negotiation skills
• You must be a good team player, proactive, responsible, and innovative
• Good command in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
• Less experience candidate would be considered as Assistant Buyer
• Fresh graduate will also be considered
