Job Description:
We are a leading bedding company seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to support B2B sales growth across various sectors, with a focus on organizations committed to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. While hospitality (including cruise lines and multinational hotels) is a key target market, this role will also involve assisting in identifying and developing partnerships within other suitable industries, such as medical, corporate, education (universities, student housing), government/public sector, non-profit organizations, and eco-conscious retailers/distributors.
The Business Development Executive will support the Business Development Manager in various stages of the sales cycle, from initial lead generation to assisting with deal closing. This includes identifying potential partners, assisting with market research, contributing to presentations, managing communication (email, calls, meetings) under guidance, and supporting the nurturing of long-term relationships. A proactive and eager-to-learn approach is crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying and targeting potential partners across various industries, including but not limited to hospitality (cruise lines, hotels), medical, corporate, education, government/public sector, non-profits, and eco-conscious retailers/distributors.
- Support market research efforts to understand industry-specific needs, sustainability goals, and purchasing processes.
- Assist in the development and delivery of presentations showcasing the value proposition of our bedding solutions. Help highlight user experience benefits and incorporate our sustainability advantages where relevant.
- Proactively reach out to potential clients through cold and warm calls, emails, networking events, and targeted online outreach, under the direction of the Business Development Manager.
- Support the Business Development Manager in managing the sales cycle, including follow-up communications, assisting with negotiations, and supporting ongoing account management.
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with key contacts within partner organizations.
- Assist in tracking and reporting on sales activities, pipeline development, and progress towards targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product development) to ensure alignment and effective execution of partnership strategies, under the guidance of the Business Development Manager.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. Experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within the textiles, linens, or hospitality supply industries is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, preferably with experience selling across multiple industries.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and highly motivated to achieve sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Candidates with significant experience will be considered for the Assistant Manager role.
