We are in an exciting phase of growth, having massively expanded our product categories to include high-demand items like cat litter and freeze-dried treats. We have also recently secured partnerships with many new and emerging international brands, positioning us for significant market expansion.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and independent B2B Sales Lead to drive our sales efforts and build strong relationships within the pet retail market. This is a critical role reporting directly to the Company Director, offering high visibility and a significant impact on our company's success. The ideal candidate will be a "self-starter" capable of managing their own pipeline and proactively seeking new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute B2B sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base (including pet shops, vet clinics, online retailers, and grooming salons).
- Act as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
- Proactively identify and onboard new accounts for our expanding portfolio of premium and emerging brands.
- Conduct occasional store visits to understand client needs, provide product support, merchandise, and gather market intelligence.
- Present and promote our product range, effectively communicating the value proposition of our premium brands.
- Negotiate sales contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
Collaborate closely with the Director to provide sales forecasts, market feedback, and insights on competitor activity.
Requirements
- Proven track record in B2B sales and account management, preferably within the distribution industry.
- A genuine self-starter attitude; must be proactive, independent, and results-driven.
- Willingness and ability to conduct occasional store visits as required.
Language: Fluency in Cantonese and professional proficiency in English (both written and spoken) are essential.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Experience in the pet business or a passion for pets is a significant advantage but not a mandatory requirement.
