AVK Valves Company Hong Kong Ltd is the AVK Group’s sales company responsible for sales in Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan and Korea. The AVK Group is a global multinational company, specializing the development, production and sale of valves and associated equipment around the world. AVK’s main focus areas are water, wastewater, Civil works, storm water and drainage, household gas distribution, fire protection as well as a presence in industry segments, such as Oli, Gas, Chemical, pharmaceutical, hydro power and others.

The Role:

This role is an exciting opportunity for a technically strong sales profile, with an independent working style to help develop AVKs business in Hong Kong, Macau and Korea within sales and Business Development, covering all business segments.

- Business Development: You will work with the team in creating awareness of the AVK Group and its various brands in the segments in Hong Kong, Macau and Korea, with the aim of developing new customers and collaborative partners.

- Project Business: Identify and track relevant projects throughout the different areas, promote the company’s products to relevant stakeholders and work with the sales team to submit well-structured tender bids.

- Sales Management: Work with the team in managing the sales to existing customers and identify where the company might increase its business with existing customers.

- New Product Introduction and Launch: In collaboration with the team, identify relevant new products within the group and launch them in the different markets, which involves managing the process in every step of the way, from working with the factory to make minor updates to specifications to hosting training seminars for customers.

Potential for Development:

- A great benefit to this role, is the potential for future development. The development opportunities for this role are to become a team leader for a full organization in Hong Kong and grow into being “Head of Sales” for Hong Kong, Macau and Korea. This accelerated development journey is supported by monthly 1-1 with the Regional General Manager and options for additional education and training courses.

Qualifications, skills & experience required

· University degree in Engineering, Business or operations a plus

· Experience from other business development roles in industrial B2B sales a plus.

· Minimum. 5-10 years working experience

· Experience within technical specifications, engineering and Civil Works, water works etc. a plus

· Strong stakeholder management skills.

· Proven ability in sales and business development

· Self-starter, independent working style.

· Strong IT savviness a plus but not a must

· Fluent in English and Cantonese reading and writing a must. Ability to speak Mandarin a plus.
