DELSEY is a consumer goods company located in Hong Kong and part of a large global organization having his headquarter in Paris, France. Our products are sold internationally through large retail chains, specialty stores and e-retailers.
Reporting to the Global HR Director and to the Asia CEO in dotted line, the Asia HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, payroll, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR compliance.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
HR management :
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with business objectives and foster employee engagement and retention.
- Oversees and management payroll payment.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent (office staff and shop promoters) across various functions and locations within the APAC region.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Manage employee relations issues, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and career development planning.
- Collaborate with regional and global HR teams to ensure consistency and alignment of HR programs and practices.
- Stay abreast of HR trends and regulatory changes in the APAC region and ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Be responsible for HR reports preparation.
Administration Support :
- Manage business trip arrangement: including hotels, taxi, tickets, etc.
- Take care of Stationery & Daily necessities in office and shops.
- Make sure office basic facilities and equipment work well.
- Make sure DG office’s environment is in a good manner.
- Maintain good relationship with Landlord and local government.
- Daily reception jobs.
Others:
- Be responsible for the 3rd party suppliers’ management both HR service suppliers and Admin service suppliers, service contract management etc.
- Coordinate with all overseas colleagues for anything if needed.
- Other project if needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Sound knowledge of Hong Kong employment laws and regulations (Hong Kong employment ordinance).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a multinational corporation.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and regulations in the Asia-Pacific region(Japan, Korea, Australia…), with specific experience in Hong Kong employment law.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HRIS and other HR-related software applications.
- Good command of both written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
