Administrative Officer (HR Payroll), University Secretariat (Ref.: 25/116/US/AO)
Duties:
1. Responsible for overseeing payroll processing tasks for part-time staff members, including salary calculations, timesheet collection, MPF contributions etc.;
2. Provide daily HR operational support to part-time staff members throughout the entire employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding;
3. Maintain and update employee contracts, visa, personnel records to ensure accuracy;
4. Ensure compliance with local regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements;
5. Perform general office administration duties as needed; and
6. Assist with ad hoc duties and projects as assigned.
Appointment Criteria:
1. Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline with a minimum of 3 years of related experience;
2. Familiarity with payroll systems and Hong Kong MPF/ tax regulations;
3. Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel and accounting software;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
5. Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working independently; and
6. Fluent in both written and spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
