Technical Business Analyst (Java, JavaScript)

Our clients, a cognitive solutions and cloud platform company are now looking for potential candidate to join their team as Technical Business Analyst (Java, JavaScript).

Responsibilities:

• Understand the banking industry's business processes, regulations, and strategic goals
• Demonstrate strong technical knowledge, particularly in API development, integration, and management
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Collaborate with developers to design and implement technical solutions that meet business needs
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including business requirements, use cases, and technical specifications, ensuring business initiatives and industry mandates are accurately captured
• Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT), life verification, and post-implementation monitoring to ensure satisfactory delivery of technical changes
• Assist with production support during regular technology upgrades and change request management
• Help with application troubleshooting and debugging
• Work with IT teams and external vendors to build quality solutions

Requirements:

• University degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering; relevant work experience is a significant advantage
• Over 3 years of experience in software development, with knowledge of JAVA, JavaScript, Python, Angular, SQL, and Spring Boot within the banking or financial sectors
• Experience in documenting functional and technical specifications, systems design, conducting system tests, and supporting user acceptance tests is a plus
• Mature and able to work independently under pressure with minimal supervision
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to tackle unstructured problems and challenge the status quo
• Good team player with strong communication skills, proficient in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English
