Registered Social Worker - Centre In-charge

Job Responsibilities:

• To monitor the operation of the Centre which include case management, case consultation, support and monitoring all teammates;

• Provide professional careers guidance and counselling services to people on Comprehensive Social Security Assistance (CSSA) through providing casework service, especially for difficult case;

• Responsible for some volunteer services, training and workshops in the project;

• Introduce community resources to empower the participants and enhance their employability in the labour market;

• Fulfill the requirements and guidelines of the Employment Support Services (EmSS);

• Submit on time statistics and reports of high quality;

• Attend some groups meeting, such as Social Welfare Department;

• Responsible for a mutual support group of New Arrival service users;

• Perform an ad hoc duties as required.

Requirements:

• Higher Diploma / Associate Degree in Social Work or above;

• Registered Social Worker;

• Minimum 5 years' relevant experience is preferred;

• Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;

• Good leadership skills and communication skills and able to work under pressure;

• Cheerful, responsible, independent, hard-working, willing to meet new challenges and be a good team player;

• Working location: Sheung Shui
