General Merchandising Manager (Woven & Knit Apparel)

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer-Centric Leadership: Manage key accounts with a focus on exceptional service and innovative merchandising strategies to cultivate long-term partnerships and drive business growth.

• End-to-End Oversight: Oversee the complete product development process, from concept to bulk production, ensuring we meet customer expectations and uphold our company standards.

• Strategic Guidance: Provide direction to the merchandising team, offering proactive and cost-effective solutions for production, quality, and sourcing challenges.

• Supplier Management: Lead sourcing strategies, including vendor evaluation, price negotiations, delivery planning, and risk mitigation, to ensure efficient and flexible supply chains.

• Quality Assurance: Maintain high product and material quality standards across both internal processes and vendor networks.

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: A Higher Diploma or Degree in Garment, Merchandising, or related fields is preferred.

• Experience: At least 12 years in the apparel industry for both woven and knit high fashion, including a minimum of 3 years in a similar role within a multinational organization.

• Client Experience: Proven track record managing large customer accounts, with strong exposure to the US market.

• Abilities: Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, interpersonal and communication skills.

• Language Proficiency: Excellent command of English and Mandarin.

• Business Travel: Willingness to travel for customer meetings, vendor visits, or production follow-ups.
