Assistant Business Development Manager or Developer (Long Station in Vietnam)

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and motivated Assistant Business Development Manager or Business Developer in garment field. This position would be responsible for developing new business, managing and overseeing it. Your primary objectives would be ensuring the successful execution of development from start to finish, meeting quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.

Responsibilities:
 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify development requirements and objectives.
• Develop new business plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee the operation of merchandising in sourcing and  development activities.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to evaluate  viability and potential obstacles.
• Monitor project progress, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to keep development on track and communicate timely the project updates, milestones, and deliverable status.
• Manage development budgets to optimize costs.
• In charge of the quality control operation to meet with industry compliance & regulations, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
• Design post-development evaluation system to identify areas for improvement.
• Oversee the business set-up in Vietnam i.e. office renting and business registration, etc.

• For manager level - in charge of hiring  in Vietnam i.e. merchandisers, sourcing merchandisers and quality control personnel, etc.
   

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a business Developer or in a similar role, preferably in the garment or textile industry.
• Good project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with garment manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

• Fluency in English, Vietnamese and Putonghua is required.
