WSP’s Infrastructure Team is seeking experienced and passionate Geotechnical Engineers dedicated to shaping the future of ground engineering and delivering sustainable, resilient infrastructure.
 
Our Infrastructure Team includes specialists from a wide array of disciplines, with a strong emphasis on geotechnical expertise—spanning soil and rock mechanics, foundation systems, slope engineering, ground improvement, and geo-structural design.

You will be involved in the following types of projects:

• Site formation & ground investigation – feasibility, analysis, design, and construction
• Foundation systems – deep foundations, piling, and substructure engineering
• Slope stability & earthworks – design of retaining structures, stabilization measures
• Tunnelling and excavation – geotechnical support for underground infrastructure
• Ground improvement & risk assessment – mitigation design and geo-hazard planning

Responsibilities:

• Determine methods and procedures for new and complex geotechnical assignments
• Coordinate and manage project teams for small to mid-size infrastructure projects
• Develop project estimates, schedules, deliverables, and resource plans for proposals and execution
• Ensure design outputs meet project criteria, technical standards, and client expectations
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across the team
• Engage with clients, consultants, and authorities throughout the project lifecycle
• Support business development and contribute to strategic planning within the Infrastructure team
• Uphold WSP’s SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality) principles

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Geotechnical / Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent
• Corporate Member of HKIE (Geotechnical Division) and RPE(G) preferred
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in engineering design works and project management
• Experience in engineering design of tunnels and landfills preferred
• Strong sense of responsibility and organization
• Strong communication, presentation and project management skills
