职位描述

Program management :

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Manager to lead our basketball project. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the project, including publicity, promotion and community basketball development. As the project leader, you will coordinate kick-off and regular training sessions, organize tournaments, collaborate closely with Social Workers in centers and projects, and manage sports career training and learning activities. You will also coordinate the annual overseas exchange trip to enrich participants’ experiences.

Administrative duties :

  • Preparing reports for the Jockey Club Charities Trust Fund
  • Maintaining key stakeholder relations and financial reporting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the overall basketball project and team
  • Plan and execute publicity and promotional activities
  • Oversee community basketball development programmes (training, tournaments, exchanges)
  • Coordinate with social workers and key stakeholders
  • Manage sports career training initiatives and learning activities
  • Organize and supervise annual overseas exchange trips
  • Prepare regular project reports for funder
  • Ensure smooth project administration and financial tracking
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent in sports management, community development, or related fields
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience, including 3 years in sports programme management, preferably basketball-related
  • Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Experience working with community organizations and social workers preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Passionate about basketball and community sports development
