Assistant Project Manager (APM) (Interior fitting out)

Job Summary:
PHM is seeking a dedicated and motivated professional to support the management of interior fitting out projects. The role offers flexibility for candidates with varying levels of experience. The successful candidate will assist in leadership, project coordination, design, scheduling, and overall project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the project team in overall project activities, including coordination of design, drawings, and materials.
• Take the lead on project tasks and report progress to the Senior Project Manager.
• Support project schedule management and coordinate activities to ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as weekly reports, meeting minutes, and EOT claims.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal teams regarding site issues and submissions.
• Manage site activities and supervise site teams as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc projects and support project planning and execution efforts.
• Coordinate internally with Quantity Surveyors to assist with variation submissions, including technical details and record keeping.

Requirements:

• High Diploma / Diploma or above in Technical, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• Minimum 8 years of full-time site supervision or project management experience in large-scale fitting out projects.
• For less experienced candidates, consideration as Senior Project Coordinator (SPC) will be given, especially those with relevant internship or lesser experience and a strong willingness to learn and grow.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese (spoken and written).
• Good knowledge of PC skills such as MS Office, MS Project, and AutoCAD.
• Good knowledge in Fitting out drawings / construction drawings.
• Strong email communication skills to coordinate effectively with clients, designers, stakeholders, and team members.
• Solid experience in interior fitting out projects is preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills, mature, self-motivated, stable, and able to work under pressure.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.
