Engineering Manager

About the role

Nova Mission International Limited is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in Kowloon Bay, Kwun Tong District. As an integral part of our engineering division, you will be responsible for overseeing and driving the successful delivery of a range of engineering projects. This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the strategic growth and development of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Providing strategic leadership and direction to the engineering team to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical challenges, optimise processes, and implement innovative solutions
• Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of complex engineering projects
• Ensuring compliance with relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Participating in the development and execution of the company's engineering strategy
• Mentoring and developing the skills of junior engineers to build a high-performing team
• Preparing detailed reports, presentations, and proposals to communicate project progress and outcomes to stakeholders

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex engineering projects
• Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering principles, design, and project management
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior engineers
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance practices
