Assistant Editor (Fashion)

MRRM Publishing Ltd is seeking an experienced Assistant Fashion Editor to join our thriving editorial team. This is a full-time position based in our Wan Chai office. As an Assistant Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the content and quality of our prestigious magazines.

Job Description :

1. Produce photo shoots, video shoots, interviews, features writing for both editorial and commercial projects for print and social media platforms.
2. Researching, developing, and refining article ideas and concepts.
3. Proofreading and copy-editing articles to ensure high standards of quality and consistency.
4. Assisting with the coordination and planning of editorial calendars and production schedules.
5. Collaborating with design team to ensure the seamless integration of text and visuals.
6. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and identifying new opportunities for content and coverage.

Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree in fashion, journalism, media or related subjects.
2. Fresh graduate will also be considered.
3. Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a similar editorial or content production role, preferably within the Advertising, Media & Fashion industry.
4. Excellent Chinese writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
5. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
6. A keen interest in the latest trends and developments within the journalism & writing field.
7. Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
8. Passion for creating high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our readers.
