Design/ STEAM Technician

Job Description:

• Provide support to facilitate the day-to-day teaching and learning within the department.
• Collaborate with teachers to plan for effective support of Design Technology/ STEAM lessons;
• Source technical equipment or resources to support the development of student innovation projects;
• Support the team with the organization and preparation of lesson resources, materials, and tools.
• Handle machinery (such as 3D printers and laser cutters) in the classrooms;
• Ensure the equipment and machinery are regularly inspected and maintained.
• Maintain a safe working and learning environment;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor(s) and the School.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Holder of a recognized Higher Diploma in a related discipline or above.
• Good command of Chinese and English;
• Possessing related working experience in an educational setting is preferred.
• Be proactive, cheerful, willing to learn and have a strong sense of responsibility;
• Be passionate about innovation and creativity.
