Airfreight Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Airfreight Coordinator to join our team at Charles Kendall Freight (Hong Kong) Limited in the Jordan Yau Tsim Mong District. This full-time role will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of our airfreight operations, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of goods for our clients.

What you'll be doing

1. Liaise with airline and freight forwarder partners to schedule and monitor airfreight shipments
2. Arrange and coordinate the pickup, transportation, and delivery of airfreight consignments
3. Prepare all necessary documentation and paperwork for airfreight shipments
4. Provide excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and addressing any issues or concerns
5. Collaborate with the broader logistics team to optimise airfreight operations and identify areas for improvement
6. Maintain accurate records and data on airfreight movements and performance in the company system

Who we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years of experience in an airfreight coordination or similar logistics role. Experienced candidate may be considered for the Supervisor role.
2. Strong knowledge of airfreight procedures, documentation, and industry regulations
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, airlines, and freight forwarders
4. Highly independent, organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
5. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and experience of using Cargowise is a merit
6. A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
7. Fluent in both writing and speaking in English and Mandarin
