Life Insurance Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis and facilitate workshops to define business requirements and assist in developing the product roadmap.
• Gather and document business requirements from various business units and write detailed user stories.
• Collaborate with both business and technology stakeholders to identify problems, understand key business needs, and create a prioritized backlog of requirements based on business value.
• Collaborate closely with the UX/UI team to ensure usability needs are met and requirements are accurately reflected.
• Assess the feasibility of design, features, and solutions.
• Facilitate grooming sessions with development teams.
• Act as a liaison between business units and delivery teams, providing clarifications and ensuring smooth communication.
• Work as part of a high-performing solution delivery team (including Business/Tech BAs, Developers, and Product Owners) to execute planned initiatives across markets.

Skills & Capabilities:

• Extensive knowledge of insurance, with a focus on policy servicing and/or claims operations is a must.

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and proficiency with JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience as a domain SME in delivering key projects using Agile methodologies.
• Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.
