Merchandiser – Sportswear & Outdoor Apparel

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for merchandising activies, follow up orders from sample development, production to delivery, monitor shipment fulfilment
• Work closely and independently with designers and factories, vendors and support the department to ensure on-time product development, bulk production follow up and price negotiation and costing
• Follow up product specification and communication with factories on production and shipment schedule
• Perform daily operation and maintain accurate records to ensure product quality and delivery performances
• Work closely with designers to facilitate product development processes, sourcing of fabrics and trims, sample fitting, etc.
• Support the planning and execution of seasonal product strategies
• Monitor the progess and report status to the superior on a regular basis
• Occasional travel to China
• Handle ad hoc assignments or tasks when required

  
Requirement:

• Diploma or above in Textile / Clothing or related disciplines
• 3-5 years of solid merchandising experience in garment field or apparel industry
• Strong communication, negotiation and problem solving skills
• Flexible, well orgainized, mature and able to work independently
• Good time management skills and can handle job pressure well to meet tight deadline
• Must be a team player and fast learner
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Powerpoint & Outlook)
• Immediately available is highly preferred
