Merchandising Manager

About the role

As the Merchandising Manager at ABM Fashion Sourcing (Asia) Limited, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's merchandise planning, sourcing, and distribution processes. This full-time, on-site position in Lai Chi Kok will allow you to utilise your expertise in the garment accessories industries.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement effective merchandising strategies to optimise product assortment, inventory levels, and sales performance.
2. Oversee the sourcing and procurement of products, negotiating with suppliers to secure the best terms and pricing.
3. Mentor and lead a team of merchandising teams, fostering their professional development and driving continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in a merchandising or buying role within the garment industry
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
3. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
4. Familiarity with industry trends, consumer behaviour, and market dynamics in the retail and fashion sectors
5. Proficient in using merchandising and inventory management software, as well as data analysis tools
